Methodology
- Candidate positions are verbatim excerpts from campaign websites, Ballotpedia Candidate Connection surveys, news reports or labeled social posts. A build check confirms that each excerpt exactly matches the saved source text.
- Scorecard rows come from Faith & Freedom Coalition voter guides (the Georgia affiliate's cards in Georgia; the national FFC cards in Texas). They are FFC's own advocacy publications; we show FFC's wording, ratings and footnotes as published.
- Labels show the type of each item: Campaign, Survey, News (a journalist's description) or Social media. If no public statement was found, the card says “No public positions found.” Nothing is guessed.
- Donors: federal candidates use the Federal Election Commission's bulk data files (itemized receipts of the candidate's principal campaign committee, 2025–2026 cycle) and FEC summary totals; the as-of date is shown on each page. Memo entries are excluded so nothing is counted twice. A “Progressive causes” badge marks donors whose public FEC records show gifts to listed cause groups (how it works and the full list). State and local candidates link to the state's official campaign-finance search until those filings are loaded. No figures are estimated.
- Elections: every page lives under its election (for example /ga/2026-general/). Primaries and special elections will get their own sections; older addresses redirect to the current page.
- Georgia: local races were checked against official county sample ballots. Texas: partisan races come from the Texas Secretary of State's official 2026 Ballot Certification; each county page says whether its nonpartisan local items have been checked.
- Voting records use one fixed list of bills per state for every incumbent, from official roll calls: which bills and why.
- Public record sections (organization roles, events, gender policy, court records) follow fixed rules applied to every party: how we check.
- This site has no advertising and no paid placement.
