Texas Senate, District 22 (Special Election, Unexpired Term)District race (Texas) · 2 candidates
In their own words
A separate special election to fill the rest of former Sen. Brian Birdwell's current term, which ends in January 2027. The same two candidates are also in the regular election for the next full term, which appears separately on the ballot. Only voters who live in the district vote in this race; Ellis County and Tarrant County are only partly in the district, so there it appears only on ballots for precincts inside the district.
